Airport
Kotoka International Airport (ACC) is the airport you will fly to and it is located in Accra, Ghana. The drive from the airport to the project site in Ho is about two and half hours.
Upon arrival, a Blue-Med volunteer coordinator or a staff member will be at the Airport to pick you up.
Our staff will meet you at the Arrival hall with your name written on a sheet of paper. We encourage every volunteer to have our contact number, +233243380168, on his or her phone and to give us a call in case of any unexpected situations. You may not find your bags/ luggage after arrival due to layovers or flight change.
If you do not find your luggage within an hour after your arrival time, you should come and talk to our staff member, who is waiting to assist you.
In the case that you arrive and our staff member is not available, please wait for us in the visitors lounge to be picked up or give our office a call. Do inform us of any changes to your flight schedule, so that you never miss us at the airport.
